This journal entry is just to let anyone who really cares know that I won't be reaching 50,000 words for National Novel Writing Month. Too many things have come up, or in some cases resurfaced, for me to do any kind of power writing, or indeed any writing at all.

However, I did finish about 25,000 words worth of one story, so with luck, it will stick and I'll be able to build off of it someday; get it where I wanted it to be in the beginning.

Best of luck to any of you still participating, and I guess we'll see what happens next year.
